GB/T 5312 specifies the classification, code, size, shape, weight, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and quality certificate of carbon steel and carbon-manganese steel seamless steel tubes for ships. GB/T 5312 is applicable to the carbon steel and carbon-manganese steel seamless steel pipes used in the manufacture of Class I pressure piping systems, Class II pressure piping systems, boilers and superheaters.
GB/T 5312规定了船舶用碳钢和碳锰钢无缝钢管的分类、代号、尺寸、外形、重量、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则、包装、标志和质量证明书。GB/T 5312适用于制造船舶用的I级承压管系、II级承压管系、锅炉及过热器用的碳钢和碳锰钢无缝钢管。

Manufacture: the tubes shall be manufactured by hot rolled, hot expansion, cold drawn and cold rolled.
Delivery Condition: heat treated as normalizing.
Inspection & Test: chemical composition test, tensile test, impact test, flattening test, bending test, flaring test, NDT, surface inspection and dimension check.

Length: normally 3000mm-12500mm according to GB/T 17395 (ISO 4200, ISO5252, ISO 1127). Other lengths are available for discussion.
