GB/T 18984 specifies the classification, code, order content, size, shape, weight, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and quality certificate of seamless steel pipes for low temperature pipelines. GB/T 18984 is applicable to seamless steel pipes for low-temperature pressure vessel pipes and low-temperature heat exchanger pipes with working temperature -45°C level to -196°C level.
GB/T 18984规定了低温管道用无缝钢管的分类、代号、订货内容、尺寸、外形、重量、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则、包装、标志和质量证明书。GB/T 18984适用于-45℃级~-196℃级低温压力容器管道及低温热交换器管道用无缝钢管。

Manufacture: the tubes shall be made by the seamless process and shall be either hot-finished or cold-finished, as specified.
Heat Treatment: all seamless tubes shall be treated to control their microstructure in accordance with one of the following methods:
a: Normalize by heating to a uniform temperature of not less than 1550 °F [845 °C] and cool in air or in the cooling chamber of an atmosphere controlled furnace.
b: Reheat and control hot working and the temperature of the hot-finishing operation to a finishing temperature range from 1550 to 1750 °F [845 to 955°C] and cool in a controlled atmosphere furnace from an initial temperature of not less than 1550 °F [845 °C].
Inspection & Test: chemistry composition analysis, tension test, flattening test, flaring test, hardness test, impact test, NDT, surface inspection and dimension check.

Length: 5800mm; 6000mm; 6096mm; 7315mm; 11800mm; and so on.
Max length: 30000mm, also U bending can be offered.
